Apopka, FL - The Apopka Fire Department is pleased to announce that Christopher Candee has accepted the EMS Quality Assurance Specialist position effective on January 1, 2023.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management from the University of Florida and has over 17 years of EMS experience as a State of Florida Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic, and 11 years of EMS Management. Most recently Chris served as the Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Orlando Fire Department, a position he started in 2018. He is a highly trained EMS and Fire Quality Assurance Manager with vital Clinical Management and Data skills and has over 35 years of excellent customer service in the Emergency Medical Services and Fire fields. His past experience and educational background make him well-versed in State, Federal, and Local emergency management procedures. This also makes him strong at identifying areas for improvement and creating and implementing solutions for change.
